For my Final Major Project I am using the theme of old holiday photos- (and my own new photos edited to look old) to create a digital textile print. Usually I am used to using just my drawings and photoshop etc to create a print...would be interested to see feedback of my work so far?
Originally I was creating my designs for Fashion- Camisole tops for Lingerie. But I am thinking of now designing for Interior Textiles as I can imagine the prints more on cushions and duvet spreads etc. . I found an image of a monochrome photo print chair which i really liked which made me think that my designs would be more suited to interiors. Think i need to do some more shop research. Retail therapy excuse? Granted.
I could definately see these prints on homewear in somewhere quirky like urban outfitters...I wish I could actually buy one in the form of a cushion, it would go so well in my mismatched flat!
